Portfolio > Situational Stand Ins

Why is it that when I finally have my own space, I can’t stop looking at the lives of others? Or maybe everyone is grateful for distractions in the midst of solitude.

Situational Stand Ins were inspired by stories told and observations made. People became objects. Objects became symbols. Many symbols represent one person.

I placed these symbols together. Shapes overlap or fuse together within a tight structure. They work together in creating a specific yet multi-faceted situation or event.
